This easy foaming soap recipe I quickly worked out can be used as hand soap, face wash, body wash and I even use it in the kids hair. Today we are brought up in a commercial world where we are constantly being sold numerous products however if you go back to the basics you don’t need all of those things. By making the foaming wash we are reducing waste, being chemical free and saving a lot of money! The recipe takes under a minute to make and easy enough for my kids to make.

Foaming Wash Recipe-
🌿 1x Foamer bottle (I use a 250ml bottle at the kitchen & bathroom sink) 🌿 2 Tablespoons of Dr Bronner’s Castile Soap 🌿 1/2 Tablespoon of Carrier Oil (I use sweet almond oil) 🌿 10 drops of Essential Oils 🌿 A pinch of Himalayan rock salt
🌿 Distilled water/ Cooled boiled water Method- Add Castile soap and the carrier oil to the foamer bottle followed by your choice of essential oils and rock salt. Then slowly pour in water. Once the bottle is full put the lid on and give it a little shake. Easy as that! Essential Oils- Depending on what you are making, you can choose essential oils that are antibacterial or good for your skin and hair. I use doTERRA which are certified pure therapeutic grade with no added carrier oils.
For the kitchen sink I have currently used lemon & lime but the list is endless. For my kids bath wash I use Lavender because it is great for your skin and a good calming oil before bed.
